Large pores inflicts men and women that have oily or combination skin types.  Commonly found along the T-Zone area of your face, large pores tend to produce higher amounts of sebum, causing them to be more prone to clogging.  If left untreated, this can result to a number of skin conditions ranging from blackheads to severe acne and skin discoloration.

The most common way of dealing with large pores is to undergo a number of different treatments in your local dermatology clinic.  While these are great, there are also a number of home treatments that you can do that are cheaper but just as effective.  Here are just some home treatments that you can do to deal with large pores.

Get a Steamer

Before washing your face, take some time out to steam your face with a facial steamer.  By doing this, dirt and other debris are loosen from within your pores and brought to the skin’s surface, allowing you to cleanse your face more effectively with your favorite cleanser.

Use a Great Exfoliant

One of the most effective ways to deal with large pores is to use an exofoliant as part of your skin cleansing regimen.  Apart from cleaning your face and removing excess oils and dirt, exfoliants also help you get rid of dead skin cells while smoothing your skin’s texture.  You can easily find a wide range of exofoliants in your local pharmacy that would best suit your skin type.

Apply a Pore Refining Mask

Another way to treat large pores at home is through the use of a pore refining mask twice a week.  This kind of facial mask draws out impurities deep within your skin pores which cannot be removed by simply cleansing your face.  An excellent one to try is Proactiv Refining Mask.  Not only does it leave your pores cleaner.  It also helps improve your skin’s texture and elasticity.

In a society where how you look like counts a lot, looking younger has become a quest undertaken by men and women alike. As a result, there are now a lot of different anti-aging skin treatments ranging from home anti-aging remedies to treatments like glycolic peel, Botox and cosmetic surgery.

One anti-aging skin care home remedies that is gaining in popularity is Imedeen Time Perfection. Approved by dermatologists and recommended by scientists all over the world, Imedeen Time Perfection can fight the signs of skin aging such as dry and dull skin, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin tones within just three short months.

Unlike most anti-aging remedies that come in either cream or serum forms, Imedeen Time Perfection comes in a tablet form which should be taken twice daily with a glass of water. The reason behind this is based on a series of studies conducted by the developers of this revolutionary anti-aging skin care product. Based on their studies, they discovered that while serums and creams may minimize the signs of skin aging on your face, they only treat the skin’s surface. Imedeen Time Perfection goes beyond this by working inside out starting on the building blocks located in the skin’s deeper layers. As such, not only does it fight the signs of skin aging on your face, but also in other parts of your body as well.

Because Imedeen Time Perfection goes right through the deeper skin layers, it is also highly recommended to be used by men and women to delay the aging process. With continuous use, men and women are able to fight off the signs and symptoms of skin aging, causing them to look younger and have firmer and more radiant looking skin.

If you are considering to use Imedeen Time Perfection to fight off the signs of skin aging, make sure to first consult with your dermatologist to ensure that you are able to enjoy its maximum effects and get your money’s worth.

My Electrolux Ergorapido Review

Because I have 4 mess-makin’ kids the convenience that the Electrolux Ergorapido really appealed to me.

While I do systematically vacuum my carpet fully at least once a week, I also need a unit that’s light and easy to work with that can clean up the spontaneous spills that are all too common in my home. If you’ve got the same problem I do then you’ll probably fall in love with the Ergorapido like I have.

The first thing that I liked about it was it was cordless. Another cool feature is the built-in hand held vacuum, which officially would make this stick vacuum a “2-in-1″. For around a hundred bucks you’re getting the handheld along with the stick unit so it’s really not a bad price compared to other vacuums.

Here’s a quick video showing how the Electrolux Ergorapido actually works:

What Do Other People Think About the Electrolux Ergorapido?

Because this is a top-selling product there’s no shortage of opinions/reviews about it.

On Amazon it has an overall score of 4/5 Stars. Here’s some of the reviews (both positive and negative).

“Bottom line? My house (and my car) has stayed clean and almost free of DOG Hairs ever since I bought this thing! .. and my back thanks me for it!

A Tip!
The best tool I’ve found to remove strings, long hair and threads that gets wrapped around the rollers and brush is a little $2.00 SEAM RIPPER! And oh yes, the little rollers sometimes get jammed up, they can be popped out with a little screw driver for cleaning.”

Tony Thiel @ Amazon

“PROS: Two in one vac, love how you can go from cleaning floors to using the hand vac in seconds. Has enough suction to pick up crumbs in the kitchen or dirt tracked in from outside by the exterior doors. It’s light and easy to maneuver to get underneath tables and chairs. The charging station has a blue backlight when it’s docked which makes for a convenient night light. I also like the option of emptying it by using a conventional vacuum to suck the dirt out a front access hole.

CONS: Like any bagless vacuum, when you try to dump clean the container, you get a dust cloud. That’s why I like the option of vacuuming out the dirt. Also, the rotating brush seems to kick dirt around half the time. Fortunately, the brush is removalable for cleaning. I just leave it out all the time. More suction would be nice as always for a vacuum, but it’s adequate for a stick/handheld vac.

Overall, I would recommend this vacuum for light, everyday cleaning.”

J. Fernandez @ Amazon

“I bought this stick vac 1 year ago to use on the wood floors in my kitchen. At first it picked up really well, but after several months of use the pick up power was not as it should be. I wouldn’t buy another one, even though I do hava an Elextrolux vacuum cleaner for the rest of the house. The warranty has expired of course.”
